Carolyn Hunter D.M.D.

Dr. Carolyn Hunter was born and raised in Streator, Illinois. She attended Southern Ilinois University Carbondale and received her Associate of Arts Degree in dental hygiene. After being a hygienist for 8 years, she went back to undergraduate school. She continued her studies at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine and received her DMD (Doctor of Medical Dentisty) Degree. Upon completion, she purchased Dr. Estel Landreth's preventive crown and bridge dental practice in Cassville, Missouri.

Dr. Hunter has over 30 years of practicing general dentisty in Cassville, Missouri.  In April of 2009,  , , ,   Dr. Hunter moved her practice to a new building at 77 Smithson Drive. While she was reluctant to leave her old office, the need for more room to treat patients and the ability to update technology in the office were the deciding factors. 

In March 1983, Dr. Hunter was elected to become a member of the Omicron Kappa Epsilon by the Nu Xi Chapter. She has been named "Top Dentist" by USA Top Dentst since 2008 and was mentioned in the 417 Magazine 2009 Top Dentist edition. Dr. Hunter is a member of the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, and Greater Springfield Dental Society. Her community involvement includes the Cassville Chamber of Commerce and Cassville Rotary Club. She focuses her continuing studies on the latest techniques and materials pertaining to comprehensive, restorative and cosmetic dentisty and by being an active member of the Northwest Arkansas Study Club, which is affliated with the Seattle Study Club.

In her spare time, she enjoys trying new recipes and relaxing at the lake.
